This tour offers challenging cross country mountain bike and a wonderful opportunity to experience the traditional and varied lifestyles of the people of this spectacular country.
Day1: Arrival in Hanoi.
Upon arrival at Hanoi’s international airport our guide will welcome you then transfer to Hanoi city center by minibus, take city tour by walking around old town
Overnight in Hanoi.
Day2: Hanoi- Yen Bai : (L,D ) ( riding 80km)
Meet in hotel ( 7: 00AM), driving out of Hanoi city. Start riding ,It’s a fascinating ride past many minority villages as we climb onto a higher plateau. We ride pass of rice field and tea plantations before arriving in the Doan Hung for lunch, continue biking to Yen Bai city. Dinner and overnight in Hotel in Yen bai.
Day3: YenBai-LaoCai (B,L,D)(riding 85 km)
After breakfast we start riding on bank of Red river o Lao Cai. About 40 km off road track (pretty wide) start climbing on the left. After many villages and a beautiful narrow suspension bridge, we enjoy a long wide track section, starting on terraces by long climb, leading to an off road pass (about 300m of elevation) and finishing on a long riding through villages , and rain forest. Lunch with noodle soup and breads, fruits, tea coffee.Then we get to the asphalt where the minibus is waiting at BaoHa , take long transfer (45’) to LaoCai. Night in Hotel in Lao Cai
Day 4: LaoCai- Cocly -Bac Ha ( 45 km, offroad, trails, dirt road )
In the morning, Breakfast in Local restaurant with rice noodle soup , banana pancake, breads, coffee, tea… Transfer by van to CocLy, boat trip to Bao Nhai, stating riding to NamDec with 2 of climbing with 10% , more than 6 and 5 km per one climb. After more than 20 km we will stop for lunch, after lunch riding down to Bac Ha. Overnight in Bac Ha . Dinner in Congphu local restaurant.

Day 5: Bac ha- CanCau- Bac Ha ( 45km offroad, trails, single track, dirt trails )
After breakfast in Hotel, we start biking from hotel to Hmong villages, riding on mountain trails climbing several mountain from 5 to 7km.
Distance: +- 50 Km. D+: 1150m D-: 500m. (B,L, D )
Day 6: Bac Ha – Xin Man
(total suggested cycling 45 km of which a minimum of 20 km are off road)
After breakfast in Hotel, we start biking directly from hotel, climb above Bac Ha through Di Thau. Continue riding off road to Nama villages. Stop somewhere for lunch, then ride off road in the mountain on a wide track to a mountain pass and long asphalt downhill to Xin Man. Overnight in Xin Man. Dinner at basic Hotel.
D+: 1400m D-: 1600m. (B, L, D)
Day 7: Xin Man – Ho Thau – Hoang Su Phi
(total distance 65 km of which off road cycling 30 km, cycling maximum 48 km)
After breakfast clients are transferred by Mini bus to Gio Mountain, start biking from there on flat asphalt road. After some 15 km we take an off road track (pretty wide) and start climbing on the left. After many villages and a beautiful narrow suspension bridge, we enjoy a long single track section, starting on terraces by a long climb, leading to an off road pass (about 1000m of elevation) and finishing on a long downhill through rain forest. Lunch consists of noodle soup and breads, fruits, tea, coffee.
Then we get to the asphalt road that leads to Ho Thau where the minibus is waiting. One Motorbike will assist the group until meeting with the minibus. The vehicle takes the guests from this meeting point over a small asphalt pass (tough climb and long steep downhill). Meet a team ( bus , minibus then transfer to Hoang Su Phi. Night in small hotel
D+: 1300m D-: 1230m. (B, L, D)
Day 8: Hoang Su Phi – Tuyen Quang
(total distance 60km of which 40 km are off road)
After breakfast clients are riding from our overnight place to the starting point (6 km). A climbing ride takes us through the typical villages and landscapes of this region we got to know yesterday. Again we find longer single track sections with a climb through terraces until we reach an off road pass of about 1300 m of elevation. A downhill section passing waterfalls and forests brings us to the asphalt at Vang Luong village. There our minibus is ready for 80 minutes transfer us to Tuyen Quang ( 85 km ) where we have dinner and spend the night in a hotel..
Note : A motorbike will assist from the start to the meeting with the minibus.

Day 9: Tuyen Quang – Hanoi
(total suggested cycling 40km of which almost all are off road)
In the morning after breakfast a car takes the group out of the city (12 km). Then off road cycling through basically flat country side for some 40 km. After lunch we get back on the car and drive to Hanoi (230 km). End of service
